New Delhi, Oct 31: Commotion over lady teacher Mamita Meher’s murder in Odisha has reached the national capital on Sunday. Opposition BJP has staged a protest at Patel Chowk in New Delhi demanding CBI probe into the matter. Sources said, the BJP leaders led by the national spokes person, Sambit Patra along with Puri MLA Jayanta Sarangi and Brahmagiri MLA Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mahapatra demonstrated on the Patel Marg over Mamita Meher’s brutal murder, committed at Odisha’s Kalahandi district. During the protest Patra alleged that Odisha government is unable to provide justice to the Mamita Meher’s family since a number of influential hands are allegedly involved in the murder case. Police have so far arrested only one accused, Govind Sahu projecting him as the prime accused. “BJP is demanding a CBI probe into the case so that the mystery behind it will open up and all the hidden hands will come to the fore”, said Patra.
