Bhawanipatna, Oct 26: The parents expressed their concern about their children’s future at Sunshine English Medium School in Mahaling, which recently came to spotlight for the sensational murder case of a lady teacher Mamita Meher.
Addressing a press conference, Odisha Parent Associations’ Forum alleged that the school didn’t have a CBSE affiliation.
“Neither the school has a CBSE affiliation nor a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Education department. How Govind Sahu, president of the Sunshine English Medium School and the prime accused of Mamita Meher’s murder case, run classes for class 9 and 10 at this school?” questioned forum.
The association also demanded stringent actions against the school administration. Besides, they urged the state government to look into the future of class 9 and 10 students of this school.
Notably, Mamita Meher, lady teacher of Sunshine English Medium School, was murdered by Govind Sahu. The prime accused Govind Sahu has also been arrested by the police in this connection.
