Mamita murder case: LoP seeks Rs 2 crore compensation, job

Bhubaneswar, Oct 22: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Pradipta Kumar Naik on Friday demanded Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to provide Rs 2 crore compensation and a government job to kin of deceased lady teacher Mamita Meher. Naik also sought police protection for the family members of Mamita, who was allegedly murdered by Govind Sahu, President of Sunshine School management committee. Her body was recovered from a stadium at Mahaling in Kalahandi district on October 19. Mamita was teacher of Sunshine English Medium School in Mahaling. She had been missing since October 8.
