Kalahandi, Oct 23: Members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha(BJYM) staged a demonstration in front of the Kalahandi SP office on Saturday, demanding State Home Minister Dibyashankar Mishra’s resignation. During the agitation, a scuffle broke out at the spot between the police and the BJYM activists. The BJP accused that Minister Mishra is allegedly involved in Mamita Meher's abduction and murder case. It's why the agitators demanded Mishra's resignation from the moral point of view. The president of BJYM, Irasis Acharya said that the state government will be responsible for any law and order situation if the minister does not resign soon. On the other hand, Biju Janata Dal (BJD)has refuted all the allegations raised by the BJP outfit saying it baseless. The party activists said, the BJP is colouring Mamita Murder case politically having no such proof against Mishra.
