Mamita Meher murder case resounds in Parliament: Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari demands CBI probe

New Delhi, Dec 9: Mamita Meher murder case of Odisha’s Kalahandi district has been resounded in Parliament on Thursday. Presenting the case in the House, Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari demanded a CBI probe into the delicate issue. While,Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stormed the Floor both inner and outer in Odisha, BJP Suresh Pujari raised the issue in the Lok Sabha in the Winter Session, this afternoon. During his presentation Pujari said, Odisha government is incapable giving justice to the lady teacher Mamita Meher as as its Minister of State for Home is allegedly involved in it. Similarly, the Pari murder case in Nayagarh , custodial death of Govinda Kumbhar and the Mahanga double murder case have remained untraced so far. It is because of the alleged involvement of some handful leaders from the ruling BJD in Odisha, Pujari said. Pujari urged the Speaker to bring these cases to the notice of Union Home Minister and order CBI probe into all these cases in the interest of fair investigation..
