Malkangiri, August 14: Marking the 79th Independence Day, the Malkangiri district administration on Wednesday organized a vibrant ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally and cultural event, celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.

The program was conducted under the direct supervision of District Collector Somesh Upadhyay. Malkangiri MLA Narsingha Madkami graced the occasion as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the rally.

Addressing the assembled citizens, the MLA lauded the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign for its role in fostering a deep sense of patriotism among the people. “The national flag is not just a piece of fabric; it stands as a symbol of our pride, honor, and the spirit of a united India,” he remarked.

The event concluded with a series of cultural performances, further enhancing the patriotic atmosphere of the day.
