Mahashivaratri in Kapilash shrine to be held without devotees

Dhenkanal, Jan 29: Mahashivaratri at the Kapilash shrine in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district will be performed this year, with no devotees. Dhenkanal district administration issued a notification in this connection on Saturday. According to it, No devotees will be allowed darshan during the Shivaratri- 2022 due to the surge of Covid cases across the state. On the other hand, the rituals of the Shiva Bibaha will be performed by the servitors, adhering to the Covid-19 protocols. Dhenkanal Collector has sought public cooperation to contain Corona in and around the famous Shiva shrine.
