Maharashtra CM calls all-party meet to control Covid surge

Mumbai, April 10: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has called an all-party meet today to discuss the Covid-19 situation in the state and steps to contain the spread. The state is currently under a strict weekend lockdown from 8 pm on Friday till 7 am on Monday with imposition of Section 144 to prohibit the assembly of five or more people. It is being speculated that the all-party meet may take a decision on imposition of a complete lockdown in the state as new infections reach record high.
