Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: In a horrific incident, a luxury car went out of control and rammed into a house near Unit 4 Hospital Square in Bhubaneswar in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the mishap.
As per reports, the mishap took place when a speeding BMW car was traveling at high speed from the Red Cross Bhawan area towards Shastri Nagar. After passing through the traffic signal, the car lost control, smashed through the barricades along the roadside, and ultimately crashed into a house.
The family claims that there were two individuals in the car, both of whom appeared to be intoxicated. The crash's impact was so severe that the airbags deployed, preventing injury to the occupants but causing significant damage to both the vehicle and the house.
The vehicle’s number plate reveals it is registered under Bhubaneswar RTO No. 1.
Upon getting the information, police arrived at the spot and took stock of the situation. Further investigation into the matter was underway.
