Angul, 4/11: Panic gripped Angul town as dacoits looted gold jewelry worth Rs 10 lakh and more than Rs 30,000 cash on gun point by tying the house owner and his father late last night. {"id":19951} As per the complaint lodged at Nalco police station by the house owner Barada Prasanna Patnaik, five to six dacoits had entered his house at CPP Chhak in the town yesterday late night by breaking open his window iron grill . They then tied him and his father Bidhu Bhusan Patnaik and looted the valuables on gun point. Acting upon the complaint, inspector in charge of Nalco police station Sarojini Samad rushed to spot with dog squad and scientific team and began investigation. Residents of town are in panic as such incidents are on the rise.
