Bhubaneswar, June 24: In a major push to Odisha’s aspirations of becoming a leading tech hub, Logile—a global leader in workforce management and operational optimisation—unveiled its world-class innovation centre in Bhubaneswar.

Gracing the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Electronics & IT Minister congratulated Logile founder and CEO Purna Mishra and his team for choosing Bhubaneswar as their India base.

“This inauguration is not just the launch of a facility; it is the beginning of a long-term partnership between innovation and opportunity,” he said, highlighting the city’s growing reputation as an investment destination driven by proactive governance and a supportive ecosystem.

Purna Mishra spoke about Logile’s global mission and his personal journey.

Emphasising the importance of human capital, he said, “We do not need buildings or software. We need people who will stay with us for a long time. Hence, Bhubaneswar is the city.” He noted that the city's talent pool and strategic location made it an ideal choice for long-term growth and innovation.

Vishal Kumar Dev, E& IT Dept Secretary, welcomed Logile to Odisha and termed its entry a major boost to the state's tech ecosystem.

He shared the government’s progressive policies in infrastructure, talent development and R&D, adding, “Only policy won’t help as it will stay on paper. Hence, Odisha is coming up with operational guidelines to ensure effective implementation.”

Following the addresses, the soft launch of Logile’s India subsidiary was formally conducted, marking the operational commencement of the Bhubaneswar innovation centre. The facility will focus on advanced research, product development and strategic collaborations.

Subhasish Pattnaik, India Head of Logile, extended the vote of thanks, stating, “This day marks a new beginning for Logile in India. We are excited to contribute to Odisha’s growth story and build something truly transformative.”

Manas Ranjan Panda, Special Secretary, E&IT was also present in the ceremony.
