New Delhi, Oct 26: Lockdown has returned back in China as a city of 4 million population, Lanzhou the provincial capital of the Northwestern province Gansu has detected peaked number of COVID-19 cases at present. The development came after China reported 29 deaths due to Covid-19. Following this officials of Lanzhou have restricted the entry and exit of residents to the province. At the same time, transports and logistics have been strictly controlled and limited to essential supplies or medical treatment and other essential commodities.“All types of residential communities are to implement closed management,” authorities said in a statement. China has been re-imposing lockdowns across several parts of the country after over 100 cases of COVID-19 were reported in 11 provinces over the past, about a week.
