Live suicide : a youth jumps off a bank building amidst presence of police and public

Sundargarh, 15/11: A youth jumped to death off a multi-storied bank building, when people were watching him taking a plunge to the ground. Nobody tried to obstruct him for taking such extreme step neither anybody attempted to save him before he fell on the ground. {"id":20486,"width":586,"height":461,"sizeSlug":"large"} This tragic and heart rendering incident took place at Duduka village under Hemgir police station of Sundargarh district. The deceased has been identified as Siba Munda. {"id":20487,"width":583,"height":454,"sizeSlug":"large"} Family members said Siba had lost mental balance since last few days. He had climbed the stairs of the multi-storied building today afternoon and said he would jump off the terrace. The locals informed the police who on reaching the spot, asked the youth to descend down. But without realizing anything, the youth jumped off the terrace and died on the spot. {"id":20488,"width":588,"height":350,"sizeSlug":"large"} The video clippings showing the youth committing suicide in open presence of police and public have gone viral.
