Bhubaneswar, July 1: The Regional Meteorological Centre here today issued alerts that light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur in most parts of Odisha in the next five days.
Similarly, heavy rainfall may take place at one or two places over Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi districts in the next 24 hours. The MeT department has issued a yellow warning for these districts.
Besides, the weather department also informed that a low-pressure area is likely to form over north Odisha and its neighbourhood around July 4.
