Bolangir: Panic has gripped Badamal area under Banei forest reserve in Saintala block in the district after a video featuring a majestic leopard roaming freely on the road late on Wednesday night went viral on social media.

However, the Bolangir DFO said that the area where the tiger was spotted is a restricted region.

The DFO said that the area where the leopard was sighted was in the restricted area of Ordnance Factory. No vehicles or public are allowed in the area.
