Koraput, 18/11: Most often he is seen in the state assembly attempting to climb the Speaker’s podium and trying to snatch away his microphone, much to the worry of the watch and ward staff. But he was in different mood at his home district Koraput on Sunday. Not only he himself danced to the tune of dhol, mahuri and madal, he also made government officers dance on the stage. This was the scene of the second evening of the state level folk festival Parav at the district head quarter town of tribal dominated Koraput. Jeypore MLA T ara Prasd Bahinipati danced on the stage at the end of the cultural evening and made the officers present on the occasion dance too. The main attraction of the cultural evening was the Dula Biha dance by Padmashri Haldhar Nag and his troupe. The other attractive items were Shiva Tandav dance by child artists, Chhow martial dance and Andhra Pradesh’s classical dance Kuchipudi. At the end of the evening, Bahinipati dragged senior officials including Koraput collector to the stage and danced them along with them, amidst applaud from the audience
