Kullu, March 30: In a tragic incident, as many as six people died in Himachal’ Kullu area on Sunday after a huge tree fell on several vehicles following a landslide.

The incident took place near Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib in Kullu district, officials said.

According to reports, a huge tree all of a sudden got uprooted following a severe storm and landslide in Kullu. It fell on some vehicles parked on the road. As a result, at least six persons were killed on the spot and left scores injured. 

On being informed, medical teams, police and admin officials rushed to the spot and initiated a rescue operation. 

All the injured were shifted to a Kullu-based hospital for treatment.
