Lady teacher Mamita missing mystery: Ornaments unearthed from pit

Bhawanipatna, Oct 19: Police has unearthed some ornaments and a vanity bag in connection with Lady teacher Mamita Meher’s missing case on Tuesday. Mamita’s family members have identified the belongings to be Mamita’s before the Kegaon police in the afternoon. Sources said, police recovered some ornaments including a gold necklace, a pair of anklets from a 5-feet deep pit in Mahalinga stadium in the morning. Later, they were presented before Mamita’s family for identification. Meanwhile, elder brother of Mamita’s father ascertained that the jewellery and the bag were of Mamita. Worth mentioning, the lady teacher of Sunshine School had gone missing since October 8. Acting on the complaints of the family, police initiated investigation and found strong evidence on Mamita’s murder.
