Kolkata, Oct 4: Thinking beyond bright lights, pretty idols and beautiful pandals, Kolkata’s Santoshpur Avenue South Club has set up a Durga Puja pandal which mirrored the plight of acid attack victims. The club has depicted the pain of acid attack victims on the wall of the pandal. The theme was made by artist Papai Santra. {"id":217440,"width":334,"height":455,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} The pandal showcases the reality of the acid attack on women and the plight of acid attack victims. It reminds us of the evil eyes in our society that keep on hampering women by snatching their facial identities. The club has decided that the visitors should not only focus on bright light and the idols but also focus on the social messages.
