Keonjhar, May 18: Keonjhar is going to get its first deaddiction centre soon. It was revealed after the district administration signed an MoU with the Viswa Jiban Seba Sangh(VJSS) on Wednesday. In a special occasion organised at the Mini Conference hall of the Collector Office, the District Collector said, Keonjhar is famous for its mines, minerals and forest resources. However, the socio-economic conditions of its human resources is still to be improvised getting rid of the social barriers like alcoholism and domestic crimes. A deaddiction centre will help to achieve social empowerment of the locals .At the same time the administration will take plethora of actions to rehabilitate the beneficiaries in many ways, he added. On the other hand, the trustees of the organisations assured to impart functional training in order to develop self-reliance among the wayward people.
