Bengaluru, Apr 16: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa tested positive for Covid 19 for the second time today. Earlier he tested for positive for the virus in August 2020 with several other family members.
The CM had developed mild fever for the last two days following which he was admitted to Ramaiah Memorial Hospital in Bengaluru, where he got tested.
His report came positive today and he urged people who came in close contact with him in the past few days to self isolate themselves.
“Upon having mild fever, today I got tested for Covid-19 and my report has come out positive. Although I am doing fine, I am being hospitalised based on the advise of doctors. I request all those who have come in my contact recently to be observant and exercise self-quarantine,” he tweeted.
Worth mentioning, the chief minister took the first dose of the vaccine at Bengaluru’s Victoria Hospital in March and was due to take the second shot in few days.
