Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Tejas’ to release on Dussehra 2022

Mumbai, Dec 7: The makers of the movie ‘Tejas’, starring Kangana Ranaut, finally announced their release date on Tuesday, which also commemorates Armed Forces Flag Day. Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP movies announced on social media handle that the upcoming action movie will hit the theaters on Dussehra, October 5, 2022. The post read, "Bringing to you the inspiring story of a woman who chose to rule the skies. An ode to the Indian Air Force, #Tejas releasing in a cinema near you on Dussehra, 5th October 2022," The film takes inspiration from the Indian Air Force's landmark decision to become the country's first defense force to induct women into combat roles in 2016. The film is written by Sarvesh Mewara and is being produced by RSVP Movies. RSVP movies had also produced the blockbuster military drama 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'.
