Justice Dixit Krishna Sripada sworn in as Judge of Orissa High Court

Cuttack, May 12: In a ceremony held at the Orissa High Court premises this morning, Justice Dixit Krishna Sripada officially took oath as a Judge of the High Court of Odisha. The swearing-in ceremony commenced at 10 a.m., with Chief Justice Harish Tandon administering the oath of office.
Justice Sripada, who previously served as a Judge of the Karnataka High Court, has been transferred to Odisha. His appointment brings the total strength of judges at the Orissa High Court to 19.
Justice Krishna S. Dixit began his legal career in July 1989, enrolling as an advocate. Over the years, he practiced extensively in the High Courts of Karnataka and Madras, specializing in Writ Law, Election Law, and Service Law. He also represented cases before Service Law Tribunals across several states.
In addition to his private practice, Justice Dixit held key roles as the Senior Standing Counsel for the Election Commission of India and as an Additional Central Government Standing Counsel since 1999.
