Lucknow, Jan 27: In a gory incident, a journalist was killed by three men in an incident of road rage in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Sudhir Saini.
According to sources, Sudhir was on a motorbike when he overtook another vehicle in which three persons were travelling.
Angered over this, the accused stopped the journalist and beaten him up badly. As a result, he sustained grievous injuries.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.
The accused, identified as Jahangir and Farman, were immediately arrested by Saharanpur police.
However, one of the accused Mannan is still absconding and the police said he would be arrested at the earliest.
Further investigation in this regard in underway, the police added.
