Jewelry shop burgled in Bhubaneswar: 1 Kg gold,10 Kg silver items looted

Bhubaneswar, Dec 5: A jewelry shop located at Delta square in Bhubaneswar has been burgled on Sunday. Miscreants have allegedly looted gold and silver ornaments worth over one crore, breaking open the shutter of the shop. According to the complaint lodged by the Jeweller with Commissionerate Police, over one-kilogram gold ornaments,10 kg silver ornaments and Rs 1.5 lakh cash have been looted from the shop. Acting on the FIR, police have undertaken an investigation on the spot. Further investigation is underway after the verification of CC TV surveillance of the vicinity. At the same time, raids are on to nab the looters, said an investigating officer.
