Jajpur, Aug 2: Maa Biraja temple in Odisha’s Jajpur will be reopened on August 4.
Visitors will be allowed into the Biraja shrine from Wednesday after the Jajpur district administration accorded permission in this connection.
On July 31, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Kumar Jena relaxed lockdown restrictions across the state. However, Odisha government left the decision of opening religious institutions on the respective district administrations.
Acting on it, Jajpur District Collector extended permission in this regard on Monday.
Worth mentioning, the Biraja shrine was shut down in view of the Corona pandemic.
