Cuttack, Oct 1: Senior IPS officer Jagmohan Meena joined as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Cuttack on Tuesday.
Meena, a 2013 batch IPS Officer who was serving as SP, Ganjam and earlier as SP Angul, took over the charge as Cuttack DCP from the outgoing incumbent Prakash R today.
After taking charge as the new DCP at the conjoint of the Durga Puja, afoot, Meena said that the police will be sensitive towards serving common people with the best of its effort.
Due justice will be bestowed to general public as much as possible within the purview the law. However, the police will take tough action and indomitable approach in dealing with antisocials and criminals, Meena added.
