Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a ITI girl student was killed as a tractor ran over her on Jharapokhari road in Chikalkhandi gram panchayat of Khallikote block in Ganjam district this morning.

The deceased student was identified as Subhashree Das of Jharapokhari village. A pal of gloom has descended in the area following the incident.

Police have reached the spot and started investigation.
