Irate over argument with wife, husband sets house ablaze in Balasore

Jaleswar, Feb 19: In a shocking incident, a husband set his own house on fire after a spat with his wife in Patharpura village under Jaleswar police limits in Balasore district today. According to the locals, the man identified as Ganesh Lal Maity and his wife Bandana Maity had an argument on Friday. Irate over the argument Ganesh later set his own house on fire with kerosene. On seeing the flames arising from the house, the locals informed the fire service officials following which two fire brigades rushed to the place and doused the fire. By the time the flames came under control, many valuables of the family have been gutted in the fire. On being informed the Jaleswar police reached the place and launched a probe into the matter.
