Investigation begins on elephant death in Keonjhar

Keonjhar, June 26: Keonjhar Forest officials have initiated an investigation into the elephant’s death on Sunday.
The primary investigation revealed that the elephant died due to health related issues.
Sources said that an elephant carcass was spotted in the Telkoi forest in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Saturday.It was found in the Kaliahata Section under the Telkoi Forest Range near the Tolakapada village.

Following this, the forest officials had recovered the body from the spot and undertook its postmortem by a team of veterinarians.
