Infra upgrade work at Odisha’s Puri station to hit train services till October 20; Check details

Bhubaneswar, August 24: In view of the upgradation work of platform five and six at Puri Railway Station, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has planned temporary changes in the services of several trains from August 25 to October 20. These changes have been planned to facilitate the smooth and safe execution of the infrastructure work.

Cancellation of Trains

Train No. 68409 Khurda Road–Puri MEMU will remain cancelled from 25 August to 20 October 2026. Its pairing train, Train No. 68410 Puri–Khurda Road MEMU, will also remain cancelled during the same period.

Short-Termination of Trains

The following trains will originate from stations other than Puri during the specified period:

• Train No. 18125 Rourkela–Puri Express — at Khurda Road at 20:30 hrs, from 25 August to 20 October 2026

• Train No. 68441 Jaleswar–Puri MEMU — at Khurda Road at 11:05 hrs, from 25 August to 20 October 2026.

• Train No. 68413 Talcher–Puri MEMU — at Khurda Road at 10:05 hrs, from 25 August to 20 October 2026.

• Train No. 18039 Shalimar–Puri Express — at Khurda Road at 04:55 hrs on August 30; September 6, 13, 20 and 27; and October 4, 11 ,18 and 25, 2026.

• Train No. 18017 Bhanjpur–Puri Express — at Khurda Road at 04:40 hrs on August 27 and 29; September 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26; and October 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 and 17, 2026.

• Train No. 18303 Sambalpur–Puri Express — at Sakhigopal at 13:15 hrs, from 25 August to 20 October 2026.

• Train No. 17480 Tirupati–Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 14:40 hrs on August 25,26,28,29 and 31; and September 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29 and 30; October 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19 and 20, 2026.

• Train No. 22201 Sealdah–Puri Duronto Express will be short-terminated at Malatipatpur at 04:00 hrs on August 26, 28, 31; September 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30; and October 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16 and 19, 2026.

• Train No. 12145 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 06:25 hrs on August 30; September 6, 13, 20 and 27; and October 4, 11 and 18, 2026.

• Train No. 15644 Kamakhya–Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 07:30 hrs on August 27; September 3, 10, 17 and 24; and October 1, 8 and 15, 2026.

• Train No. 15640 Kamakhya–Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 02:45 hrs on August 30; September 6, 13, 20 and 27; and October 4, 11 and 18, 2026.

• Train No. 20917 Indore Jn –Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 18:30 hrs on August 25; September 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; and October 6 and 13, 2026.

• Train No. 22909 Valsad–Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 09:30 hrs on August 27; September 3, 10, 17 and 24; and October 1, 8 and 15, 2026.

• Train No. 20471 Shri Ganganagar–Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 09:40 hrs on August 30; September 6, 13, 20 and 27; and October 4, 11 and 18, 2026.

• Train No. 22973 Gandhidham–Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 07:50 hrs on August 26; September 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; and October 7 and 14, 2026.

• Train No. 12993 Gandhidham –Puri Express — at Malatipatpur at 14:25 hrs on August 28; September 4, 11, 18 and 25; and October 2, 9 and 16, 2026.
