Bhubaneswar, February 15: Information regarding all the belongings of the Ratna Bhandar of Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri, be a public document, informed Odisha Law Minister Prithwivraj Harichandan on Saturday.
While responding a query presented regarding the inventory and quality assessment of the Lord’s belongings treasured inside the Ratna Bhandar, Harichandan said, all sort of information regarding the treasure-trove will remain universally open, which will be readily available in public domains, for reference.
Underlining the comprehensive details about the priceless gems & jewels of the Ratna Bhandar, Harichandan said the belongs and their very specifications will be made public and will be kept on record during counting and quality assays.However, he said, documentation - both as manual and digital will be made following essential renovation and repair works of the Ratna Bhandar that continue yet.
Notably, the Srimandir Ratna Bhandar was opened on July 14, 2024 after a longish gap of over 45 years.
