Harmanpreet Kaur powers Indian women to series sweep in Raipur
Harmanpreet Kaur unleashed a dominant batting performance in Raipur, guiding the Indian women cricket team to a 92-run victory over Zimbabwe and securing a 3-0 series sweep. This decisive victory highlights India's ongoing dominance and deep batting reserves in home bilateral T20 competitions.
Shafali Verma provided a blazing start for the hosts. She scored 69 runs from just 37 deliveries, marking her 23rd half-century in this format and her ninth of the year. Following her opening burst, Harmanpreet took complete control of the innings. She blasted an unbeaten 91 off 41 balls, striking 10 boundaries and five sixes. Two of her massive hits travelled 82 and 89 metres. Their 84-run partnership propelled India to 216 for 7, matching their third-highest total in T20 internationals.

Zimbabwe struggles in steep chase
Chasing a formidable target of 217, Zimbabwe faced early setbacks under building pressure. Sharne Mayers offered strong resistance with a well-made 60, supported by Beloved Biza, who contributed 44 runs. The duo built an 82-run stand to give their team faint hope of staying in the contest. However, the required run rate proved too difficult to overcome against the Indian bowling attack. Nandani Sharma dismantled the lower order, taking three wickets for just 18 runs. Zimbabwe ultimately finished at 124 for 7, falling significantly short of the target.
