Bhubaneswar: The D-Day has already approached. The much-awaited one-day international match between India and West Indies will be played from 1.30 pm today.
Both the teams are ready to take on each other with all their all might to win the match. Heavy security has been arranged for smooth conduct of the match. As many as 80 platoons of police would be guarding Cuttack city till completion of the match.
A strict traffic management system has been put in place to avoid rush in the city.
Spectators will start entering the stadium from 9.30 am. While vehicels will be parked on the Baliyatra ground, visitors have been asked not to take anything such as water bottle, camera, fruits and dry foods to the stadium.
It may be noted that the two teams had done net practice on the stadium yesterday. Players, who are staying in the Hotel Mayfair in Bhubaneswar, will go to the stadium in special buses amid tight security and reach the venue 11 am.
Mo bus service has been availed for visitors from Bhubaneswar to the stadium.
