Cuttack, May 19: The T-20 match to be played between India and South Africa at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium on June 12 will be played with 100% seating capacity, said sources on Thursday.
The news came after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to allow full seating capacity in the stadiums for the India -South Africa T-20 series, keeping in mind the persistent low of Covid-19 cases in the country.
Earlier, BCCI had announced full capacity of crowd in the stadiums for the IPL play-offs and the Covid protocols were also eased for the cricket fans to enjoy the game to their fullest.
Notably, South Africa will be touring to India for a five-match T-20 series that will be played in New Delhi, Cuttack, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot and Bengaluru. The series will kick start on June 9 and will conclude on June 19.
