India reports less than 1 lakh cases for the 4th day

New Delhi, Jun 11: As many as 91,702 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported in last 24 hours across the country.Nation's active caseload has further declined to 11,21,671, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Friday.The country witnessed a net decrease of 46,281 in active cases in last 24 hours with detection of less than 1 lakh cases for the 4th day, it added.Similarly, the total recovery reached 2,77,90,073 with recover of 1,34,580 patients during last 24 hours.Recoveries outnumbered the Daily New Cases for the 29th consecutive day.Recovery rate increases to 94.93% whileweekly positivity rate currently stood at 5.14%.Similarly, daily positivity rate stood at 4.49%, less than 10% for 18 consecutive days.Testing capacity substantially ramped up–37.42 cr tests total conducted.On the other hand, 24.6 Cr. Vaccine Doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
