βββββββBhubaneswar, July 4: Vice President C P Radhakrishnan will visit Odisha on July 9 to participate in a series of official engagements, including the 15th convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) and the national launch of the 'Letter of Authorisation' programme for Indian-flagged fishing vessels operating in the high seas.
Ahead of the visit, Chief Secretary Anu Garg on Saturday chaired a review meeting to assess and finalize arrangements for the Vice President's programme, officials said.
During his visit, Radhakrishnan will attend the national launch of the 'Letter of Authorisation' initiative, aimed at facilitating Indian-flagged vessels engaged in high-seas fishing operations.
He will also grace the 15th convocation ceremony of NISER as the chief guest, where he is expected to address graduating students and faculty members.
