Bhubaneswar, July 1: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Odisha on a three-day tour beginning July 3, during which he will attend a series of official programmes in Bargarh, Sambalpur, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
As per the official itinerary, Shah will depart from New Delhi's Palam Airport on Friday evening aboard a special Indian Air Force aircraft and arrive at Jharsuguda at 8:40 pm.
On Saturday, the Home Minister will visit Bargarh, where he is scheduled to inspect the BPCL 2G Ethanol Plant at Bausingha at 11:20 am. He will later inaugurate the ethanol plant at a public function in the district.
From Bargarh, Shah will travel to Sambalpur to offer prayers at the Maa Samaleswari Temple. He will subsequently attend a programme at Remed Ground, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several development projects. Following the engagements, he will return to Jharsuguda and fly to Bhubaneswar in a special aircraft for an overnight stay.
On July 5, Shah will visit Badamba in Cuttack district to inaugurate the revived Badamba Sugar Mill during a function scheduled for 11:25 am.
Later in the day, he will return to Bhubaneswar and attend the President's Colours Presentation Ceremony of the Odisha Police at the 7th Battalion campus at 3 pm.
The Union Home Minister is scheduled to depart for New Delhi at 6:20 pm on Sunday, concluding his three-day visit to the state.
