New Delhi, May 21: Various Parts of India, including Odisha, faced extreme heat on Thursday, with Banda in Uttar Pradesh emerging as the hottest spot at 47.6°C.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported heatwave to severe heatwave conditions across several states, including Haryana, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh.
Delhi continued to endure sweltering temperatures, with mercury hovering around 45°C.
