Pallahara, Mar 30: The three-day Pallahara Mahotsav has officially begun, with the festivities entering its second evening today at Pallalhada Stadium. The event witnessed the presence of prominent dignitaries, including Dhenkanal MP Rudra Narayan Pani as the chief guest and Chhendipada MLA Agasti Behera as the keynote speaker.

Celebrating Pallahara’s rich heritage, culture, and picturesque environment, the festival has highlighted the need for its development. The government reiterated its commitment to promoting the region, announcing financial aid of ₹10 lakh for the development of the Maa Kundheibira Peetha.

The evening concluded on a high note with spectators grooving to songs performed by renowned vocalist Sugyani Mahapatra.
