Sambalpur, Mar 30: A tragic road accident occurred at Phuljharan in Sambalpur when an auto-rickshaw was rear-ended by a truck. One female passenger was killed on the spot, while five others sustained serious injuries.
The injured, who were travelling from Birsinghgarh to Maneswar Bazaar along with over 10 passengers, have been rushed to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) for treatment. Authorities confirmed that the remaining victims are in critical condition.
Police reached the accident site immediately and have initiated an investigation into the circumstances leading to the collision.
