Bhubaneswar, May 22: Odisha is set to host the upcoming Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Eastern Regional Council Conference, bringing together representatives from several eastern Indian states to discuss regional growth, industrial development, and collaborative opportunities.
A delegation from the Odisha chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhavan today to discuss preparations for the conference. The delegation included CII Odisha Chairman Anil Singh and Vice Chairman Manikanta Nayak.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the organization of the upcoming CII Eastern Regional Council Conference in Odisha and its significance for strengthening economic cooperation among eastern states.
The conference is expected to witness participation from delegates representing Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand. The event will serve as an important platform for deliberations on industrial growth, investment opportunities, and regional collaboration under the Prime Minister’s Purvodaya vision for eastern India’s development.
