Bhubaneswar, June 11: The Odisha Higher Education Department has extended the last date for online registration and submission of the Common Application Form (CAF) for undergraduate admissions under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) for the 2026-27 academic session.
Students can now apply for admission to degree colleges, universities, and law colleges across the state through the SAMS portal till11:45 pm on June 16, 2026.
As per the revised schedule, the first-round seat allotment list will be published on June 22, while the second and final allotment list will be released onJuly 2. Spot admission rounds to fill vacant seats will be conducted between July 8 and July 15.
The department also advised applicants to review and update their course preferences, as some institutions have revised seat intake for Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) courses and converted certain AEDP courses into regular programmes.
Classes for first-year undergraduate students are scheduled to begin on July 10, 2026.
