Bhubaneswar, April 8: The Finance Department has approved direct recruitment for 1,363 Junior Revenue Assistant posts across all the 30 districts of the State.

“To further strengthen the revenue administration, the Government of Odisha has approved filling up 1,363 Junior Revenue Assistant posts through direct recruitment. Decision to this effect was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by chaired by the Finance Department Principal Secretary,” said an official release.

Meanwhile, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Dr. Aravind Padhee, has written to all District Collectors Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) and ensure that the online application process is initiated promptly.

These posts will be filled through a direct recruitment process across all 30 districts of the State by the OSSSC.

The letter also asked the Collectors to analyse the vacancy details along with necessary reservations for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), as well as for women, persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen, and sportspersons in their respective districts.

The Revenue Secretary expressed hope that this initiative by the State Government will enhance the efficiency of revenue administration and improve public service delivery.
