Bhubaneswar, July 23: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has achieved a major milestone as five more names associated with Lord Jagannath have been cleared for trademark registration to curb commercial misuse.
The names are Jagannath Dham, Shreekshetra, Mahaprasad, Neelachakra and Koili Baikuntha.
In a post on ‘X’, SJTA Chief Administrator Arabinda Padhee said that five more trade applications have been approved for publication in the upcoming Trademark Journal.
“Jai Shri Jagannath. A significant success of the Shri Jagannath Temple Administration in protecting the sacred traditions and heritage of the Shri Jagannath Temple. Following the second stage examination of trademark registration, five more trademark applications have been approved for publication in the upcoming Trademark Journal. Jagannath Dham, Shri Kshetra, Mahaprasad, Neelachakra, Koili Baikuntha,” said Padhee.
Padhee further wrote, “This step is another significant stride in safeguarding the sacred names and traditions associated with Lord Shree Jagannath, as well as preventing their unauthorised use and commercial misuse.”
