Bhubaneswar, Mar 24: An Odia migrant worker from Odisha, identified as Arjit Kuara, has been reported missing in West Bengal, sparking concern among his family members who are now calling for immediate intervention from authorities. Despite complaints lodged with the police in both Odisha and West Bengal, no trace of the missing individual has been found so far.

Arjit Kuara, 31, hailing from the Kanti Bhanuri village in the Bhograi block of Odisha, had been working as a migrant worker in a poultry farm in Purulia, West Bengal, for the past three months.

Even a few days later, some villagers from Kanti Bhanuri traveled to the area where Arjit had been working in West Bengal to inquire about his whereabouts, but they received no satisfactory answers. Following this, an official complaint was filed with the Kashipur Police Station in Purulia, but the police have yet to make any significant progress in locating him.

The family is now urging local authorities to take swift action to ensure Arjit's safe return. The villagers have called on the administration to step in and locate the missing laborer.
