Dhanipur, Ap 1: The Nua Odisha Skill Training Program, organized by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India in collaboration with Hope Health Foundation, successfully concluded at Dhanipur in Jagatsinghpur district. This free, residential training program spanned 45 days and saw active participation from 30 students, including 23 girls and 7 boys, from Jagatsinghpur, Khodha, and Nayagarh districts.
The primary objective of the program was to drive economic growth by mobilizing savings, facilitating investments, and enhancing the financial infrastructure. It focused on improving financial inclusion, managing risks, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as AI and blockchain to foster efficiency and innovation in the sector.
The training covered a wide array of topics, including Banking, Insurance, Financial Management, Basic Computer Fundamentals, Communication Skills, and Interview Techniques. Mr. John Kumar Swain and Ms. Deepika Sutar led the training sessions, imparting valuable insights to the participants.
Industry professionals also joined as resource persons to provide practical knowledge and skill enhancement. Mr. Hrushikesh Sahoo, Branch Manager of IDBI Bank Ltd, Ms. Subhadra Prusty, Instructor at the Basic Science & Computer Institute, Mr. Sambit Kumar Sahoo, District Coordinator of UNFPA, and Mr. Susil Kumar Mishra, Insurance Advisor at SBI, contributed their expertise.
On the final day, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sazzan, Founder of Hope Health Foundation, Mr. Ajit Kumar Uttaray, District Skill Development and Employment Exchange Officer, and Mr. Santosh Jena, Assessor of SSCI, were present as observers. Mr. Swadhin Kumar Khatua, Project Head, expressed his satisfaction with the successful completion of the program and extended best wishes to the participants for their bright future.
All trainers, resource persons, observers, and the project team expressed their happiness for the successful completion of the program and lauded the efforts of the participants.
