Bolangir, June 22: Ashok Narayan Bhoi, News7's correspondent from Kantabanji in Bolangir district, passed away late Sunday night while undergoing treatment following a brain hemorrhage. His untimely demise has cast a pall of gloom over the journalism fraternity and the local community.
According to sources, Bhoi's health condition suddenly deteriorated two days ago. He was initially admitted to Khariar Medical and was later shifted to a hospital in Raipur for advanced treatment. Despite intensive medical care, he succumbed to his illness on Sunday night. His family members were present by his side at the time of his passing.
A veteran journalist, Bhoi began his career in journalism in 2009 and remained actively associated with the profession until his last breath. He had been working with News7 for many years and was widely recognized for his dedication, professionalism, and unbiased reporting.
