Bhubaneswar, July 14: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Leader of the Opposition Naveen Patnaik is set to leave for New Delhi on Tuesday on a six-day visit. During his stay in the national capital, Patnaik is expected to hold meetings with several political leaders and also spend time with some of his close friends.
According to party sources, Patnaik is scheduled to depart for Delhi at around 10 am. His visit comes ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, which is slated to commence on July 20.
During the visit, the former Odisha Chief Minister is also likely to meet BJD Members of Parliament to discuss issues related to the upcoming Parliament session and the party's strategy.
Patnaik is scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar on July 22.
