New Delhi, March 24: After a four-day decline, gold prices rebounded by Rs 1,200, reaching Rs 1.44 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Tuesday. Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs 2.30 lakh per kilogram, as reported by the All India Sarafa Association.
Gold, with 99.9% purity, had closed at Rs 1,43,600 per 10 grams (inclusive of taxes) on Monday.
Traders attributed the increase in domestic gold prices to a recovery in global commodity markets, coupled with some buying interest at lower price levels following recent sharp declines.
